Today, Dixie continue to craft each of their beers in maintaining the traditional slow-brewed, hands-on method in each step of their unique brewing process. Still, capturing the essence of their proud Southern traditions, the beers of Dixie are characteristic of the gracious charm and the joy of living so inherent in our New Orleans way of life. More than a brewery, the Dixie Brewing Company and it’s beers are as much a part of Louisiana culture as Mardi Gras, Creole and Cajun cooking, and New Orleans Jazz.

DIXIE GOLDEN LAGER

An American icon. Uniquely formulated and brewed to meet the demand of a quality brew which could be generously consumed but still leave room for the spiced foods which are synonymous with Creole and Cajun cooking. Dixie Lager uses lightly roasted two row barley malts, rice and Cascade hops; the result is a crisp and flavourful beer. A century of New Orleans’ brewing tradition lives today in every bottle and keg of Dixie Lager.

Dixie Jazz Amber Light – At only 92 calories and 3.1g of carbohydrates, this award winning beer, developed by the late, world renowned Father of Light Beer, Dr Joseph Owades, retains the taste and character of full bodied lagers, making this a truly unique light amber beer. It is the result of a challenge to produce a superior tasting, super premium light beer.

DIXIE BLACKENED VOODOO LAGER

Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager – Inspired by the Great German dark lager beers, only the best of dark, roasted barley malts were used to create this darkly rich and very malty flavour. With perfect balanced Mt. Hood and Cascade  hops and slow, slow cold lagering, there is a touch of magical spirit, deep color, and bewitching character to this unique and mysterious brew.

DIXIE CRIMSON VOODOO ALE

Dixie Crimson Voodoo Ale – Created in the spirit of Blackened Voodoo and inspired by traditional hand crafted, cask-conditioned ales, this American Red Ale is a full-bodied brew. A unique blend of special pale and roasted malts, with intriguing color and balance, this fine beer is the first red ale in Dixie’s proud history.
