SPANISH GALLEON GOURMET WHITE, ROSE & RED WINES:


TINTO JOVEN – RED WINE

 

Variety – Tempranillo 100%

 

Volume – 12.5%

 

Comments – Deep red colour, with the characteristic aroma from la MANCHA region climate and temperatures, giving that fresh and smooth characteristic palate from our cellar.

 

Suggested Foods – Stews, Rice dishes, all meats, cheese, pate snacks. Best served slightly cooled at 12-14°C

 

Specifications – This red wine derives from selected TEMPRANILLO grape variety,

made from a large maceration – grapes homogenisation process. The wine comes

strictly from grapes. Nevertheless, it provides a sensible taste leaving a fresh and

delicate palate.

 

ROSADO ROSE WINE

 

Variety – Tempranillo 100%

 

Volume – 12%

 

Comments – Bright pink and clean rose colour wine, very aromatic that reminds

 of strawberry, raspberry and peach, provides a light and fresh palate.

 

Suggested Foods – A good match for fish, shellfish, snacks and salads. Best

served slightly cooled at 6-8ºC

 

Specifications – This is a rose wine made from Tempranillo grape variety, which

is then cool macerated and filtered by gravity obtaining a clean must, which is

fermented in stainless steel vats at slightly controlled temperatures.

 

BLANCO – WHITE WINE

 

Variety – Macabeo (Viura) 100%

 

Volume – 12%

 

Comments – Pale yellow colour wine, with fine fruit aromas, providing a refreshing and balanced smooth palate.

 

Suggested Foods – Perfect for fish, shellfish, snacks and salads. Best served slightly cooled at 4-6ºC

 

Specifications – This is a unique white wine made from selected grapes, collected at the most mature state, transported with care to a cool maceration process. The must is obtained by gravity, to be then fermented in stainless steel vats at very strictly controlled temperatures.

 

CABERNET SAUVIGNON RED WINE

 

Variety – cabernet Sauvignon 100%

 

Volume – 13.5%

 

Comments – Red Bordeaux colour with deep red tones. Mature fruity smell

together with humus and coconut notes, with reinforcements of sweet pepper

characteristics commonly known to this variety. Taste is that of a fresh wine,

consistent with loads of tannins, elegant, rich and sensual.

 

Suggested Foods – Perfect for stews, Rice Dishes, all meats , cheese, pate snacks.

 Best served slightly cooled at 12-14º

 

Specifications – This white wine is 100% derived from a Cabernet Sauvignon grape

variety, carefully collected at full maturity, made from a large maceration – grapes homogenisation process – stayed in the wine barrels for a period of 3 months before

 being bottled.

 

MERLOT _ RED WINE

 

Variety – Merlot 100%

 

Volume – 13.5%

 

Comments – Intense deep red colour. Balsamic and while aroma with spicy fruits notes, accompanied by chocolate nuances. Once in the mouth, it provides a categorical but kind taste, with a tint of marmalade and truffle flavour. The wine brings together character, kindness and smoothness.

 

Suggested Foods – Perfect for stews, Rice Dishes, all meets, cheese, pate snacks.

Best serves slightly cooled at 12-14ºC.

 

Specifications – The origin of this wine is from Merlot grape variety, carefully

collected when fully ripe. Made from a large maceration – grapes homogenisation

 process – stayed in the wine barrels for a period of 3 months before being bottled.

 

SHYRAH RED WINE

 

Variety – Shyrah 100%

 

Volume – 13%

 

Comments – Red current colour with deep red nuances. Black fruit aroma, violets,

vanilla and spices with an tint of marmalade and prune taste.

 

Suggested Foods - Perfect for stews, Rice Dishes, all meets, cheese, pate snacks.

Best serves slightly cooled at 12-14ºC.

 

Specification – 100% distilled from a Syrah grape variety, carefully collected when

fully ripe and distilled from a long maceration process.

 

CHARDONAY WHITE WINE

 

Variety – Chardonay 100%

 

Volume – 13.5%

 

Comments – Pale straw yellow colour, almost gold. Leaving the smell of butter

and dried fruit, with a slight taste of matured fruits. On the palate a sense of nuts

 and matured hazelnuts. In all close to being sweet yet dry, fruity and smooth.

 

Suggested foods – The wine is excellent with all sorts of fish, rice aperitifs,

shellfish and seafood. It is suggested to be served at 6ºC or there about.

 

CRIANZA RED WINE – VINTAGE 2006

 

Variety – Tempranillo 100%

 

Volume – 12.5%

 

Comments – This fine wine is the result of a combination of techniques, at

different fermentation temperatures, lengths of skin contract, and levels of

crushing. After blending, a complex, structured wine is obtained, which is

fermented in oak barrels.

 


Suggested Foods – Perfect with red and white meats, game, mature cheese,

pate – best served at room temperature.

 

Specifications – This red wine comes from selected Tempraillo type grapes,

also called TEMPRANILLO from semi-arid Mediterranean climate, with highly

seasonal rains, concentrated in winter and strongly influenced by winds

coming from LA MANCHA planes.

 

RESERVE RED – VINTAGE 2004

 

Variety – Tempranillo 100%

 

Volume – 13%

 

Comments – This wine is distilled through maceration in rotary horizontal

fermentation machines, where a better extraction of the grape substances is

achieved, such as colour, aromas, tannins, giving its structure and complexity

to its aging in new oak barrels for a minimum of 12 month before being bottled

 at our cellar.

 

Suggested foods – Perfect stews, all range of meats, cheese, sausages, pate and snacks which is to be served at room temperature.

 

Specifications – Deep ruby red colour with tile shades. Aromas, which are characteristic to this variety of grapes, adapted to the Mediterranean climate, and soils from La Mancha, joined with the contributed aromas of its long maturing in oak barrels. Pleasant, ample palate, well balanced and elegant.

 

GRAND RESERVE – VINTAGE 2002

 

Variety: Tempranillo 100%

 

Volume – 13%

 

Comments – Made by a large maceration process at strict control temperatures, where it is possible to get a better extraction of the grape substance, giving as a result a high structured wine and complexity to its latter aging of 16 months in new oak barrels plus a further 12 months in bottle aging inside our temperature controlled cellar.

 

Suggested Foods – Perfect with stews, all meats, cheese, sausage, pate and snacks – to be served at room temperatures.

 

Specifications – Deep ruby red colour. Fruity aromas, which are characteristic to this variety of grapes, adapted to the Mediterranean climate, and soils from Castille La Manche, joined with the contributed aromas of its long maturing in new oak barrels. Pleasant, ample palate, well balanced and elegant.
